Packing animal feed made effortless with ‘easy teach’ and ABB Robot palletisation
Allen & Page have seen exceptional speed and pallet presentation improvements for their animal feed since upgrading their existing single palletising system with two IRB 6400 fitted with ‘Easy teach’. Easy Teach is a program designed by RMGroups engineers, following the simple training provided by the engineers it allows the end user to have full control of layer configurations of the stack via an easy to use HMI (human machine interface) The demonstration video clip can be seen below.
Opting for a twin, two on the floor configuration, arranged in two separate cells has allowed for higher production throughputs, achieved as a result of the robots filling a single pallet before switching to a second, enabling the operator to remove a pallet and replace without stopping the line, drastically reducing stopping frequencies which in turn increases output.
The palletizing systems are also fitted with remote access, this allows engineers from RMGroup to fault find if required and the service team to monitor production and plan future service works when required.
