Sales Solution Engineer

Summary

RMGroup specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery to various industries around the UK. The company has grown rapidly within the last few years, and we are continually looking for aspiring individuals to join our dynamic team.

Due to unprecedented growth, we are now looking for someone to join our sales team to assist with the conceptual design of our automation systems using bespoke 3D software. (Full Software Training Provided).

This role provides the candidate the opportunity to work within the existing sales team, developing their knowledge of automation and it’s uses within industry. Working with leading software to produce conceptual designs for our clients to support the sales team and PMO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Utilise bespoke software called “Visual Components” to design and layout conceptual packaging machinery to enable your colleagues to build quotations.
  • Completing software simulations to prove concept digitally.
  • Liaise with customer to discuss conceptual design, amending to suit their needs.
  • Using the software to animate your conceptual design to create proposals for customers.
  • Virtual testing of conceptual design using Virtual Components to confirm feasibility of proposal.
  • Support sales team with onsite customer proposals and site visits.

Skills / Experience:

  • Candidates must be highly computer literate.
  • Ability to read layout drawings and interpret data.
  • Demonstrate a good standard of written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to digest and input and record accurate information.
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to excel and improve.
  • Previous engineering experience desirable but not essential.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri (40hrs per week minimum)

Salary:  £35,000 – £45,000 gross per annum (Subject to Experience and Skillset)
