Commissioning Engineer

On this occasion we are looking to recruit a commissioning engineer with proven industry experience. Whilst the role is home based, candidates must be flexible and available to work away at customer sites or at our factory HQ in Mid Wales.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

• Candidates must have the ability to modify programmes using relevant software for packaging and automation projects, including PLC/HMI programming.
• Experience of robot installation and commissioning essential. Proficiency with ABB IRC5/S4C+ programming desirable.
• Ability to modify PLC programme – Predominantly Siemens S7-1200 PLC
• Candidates will be involved in FAT prior to machinery dispatch to ensure successful commissioning based on customer requirements.
• Train operators on site with use of machinery following installation.
• Effective communication skills and good customer service.
• Efficient Team working skills in order to work alongside Project Manager, Compliance officer, Mechanical engineers and electricians to deliver the project as per customer specification.
