RBP-700 Robotic Bag Placer (700 Bags Per Hour)

Introducing the RBP-700, RMGroup’s automated robot bag placer. The innovative bag placer joins the line of bagging machinery as a flexible method of placing sacks on a filling spout. Combining our in-depth experience of industrial robots and a wealth of bag filling knowledge, to offer a fully automated solution to bag filling requirements.

Our thinking? To offer an upgraded solution for the repetitive task of manually placing bags on a filling spout with an equally flexible method of bag placing using a 6-axis robot.

The system comprises an ABB robot with vacuum tool that picks bags from a stack and presents to paddles to retain an open mouth. This in turn places empty bags on a filling head. Complemented with a Total bag Control (TBC) system filled bags are transported away from the bag filling spout to a sack closing device (stitcher or sealer). Light barriers encompassing the system provide the utmost safety for users to industry standards.
