Aggregate packaging systems supplied and installed by RMGroup

Manual and Automated bagging systems for Aggregates
RMGroup have supplied a range of bag filling systems to Quarry owners, Builders merchants, and large aggregate suppliers such as Aggregate Industries. From very basic Manual systems for pre-made bags through to the high speed fully automated vertical Form, fill and seal bag filling systems with robot palletising. Our mobile packaging systems provide the ideal packaging solutions to those looking to pack in various remote locations

Mobile Packaging Systems

Some of the Uk's largest aggregate suppliers have hired or invested in mobile packaging lines to pack their aggregates. The lines are simply re-located to packing locations. More recently our hire line has been packing various aggregates for at stonehaul with Aggregate Industries. The line was required to pack product while their existing lines were de-commissioned. See our News page for the latest news on the mobile hire lines. Please follow links for more information on our Mobile Packaging Systems.

Fixed fully automated packaging lines

The video left shows our fully automated packaging line for film on a reel. The form, fill and seal machine forms the film around a tube, fills weighed product into the bag and then seals the bag before it is carried through to the ABB robot palletising system. This system is ideal for customers looking for high throughputs, minimal labour costs and big savings on film costs. Follow the link to our FPK 44 page for more specifications on our Form, fill and seal machine. The MB-300 is not only ideal for packing aggregates, the system is compatible with many other applications. The system comes complete with 4 tonne hopper, shaker tray, electronic load cell bag clamp, weigh indicator, trolley and Star 66 heat sealer with pedalstool and footswitch. The line can be operated from single phase power and requires an air supply of 7 CFM. The low cost line is proving to be popular with smaller enterprises packing salt.
